The Melbourne Bearkatz will be playing their 2A State Tournament first round game March 11 at 1:00 p.m. against the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs at the Bearkatz Gym in Melbourne.
Should they be victorious, Melbourne will play the Caddo Hills Indians on March 13, at 1 p.m.
According to a notice from the Melbourne High School, students may attend the Bearkatz State Tournament games (only the games the Bearkatz are playing). Students must have purchased an online ticket before hand and must sign the sign-up sheet in the Student Union first thing in the morning of the game.
Mr. Carroll will let the students know when they are dismissed to attend the game and students must return to class after the game ends. Students will not be counted absent from dismissal time until the end of the game.
Melbourne Elementary students may also attend the Bearkatz State Tournament games (only the games the Bearkatz are playing), however they must be picked up by a parent and signed out at the Elementary office. They are also required to have a mobile ticket.

All games will be live-streamed by Lake Area Sports. It is supposed to be at https://www.aaascoreboard.com/ or on the AAA app. Melbourne High School doesn’t have permission to live stream it.
