Tuesday, April 22 local and regional musicians will come together at the Hardy Civic Center for Heart of Hardy, a benefit for Hardy flood relief and recovery.

Headlining the evening will be regionally-known Arkansas band Under the Influence, who have been in the studio working on a new album. Learn more at musicundertheinfluence.com. Opening for Under the Influence will be Spring River’s Got Talent winner Christopher Smith and band. Other musicians will include Lincoln Payne and Mike Oregano, with more acts to be added.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. for a silent auction with bands taking the stage at 6 p.m. Admission is free with donations encouraged. Food trucks will be available in the Civic Center parking lot

The event will benefit flood relief efforts by Comfort Keepers Ministry. Headed by Lauren Siebert, Comfort Keepers has more than a decade’s experience of treating people in need with dignity and helping them to help themselves and attain independence.  More information is available at comfortkeepersministry.org

The evening is being organized by Ralph Lowe of the Spring River Collective on Main Street in Hardy.  Lowe said, “This will be a night of music, community, and caring.  Join us for an unforgettable evening local causes through music and community spirit.”
